We know you鈥檙e tired of hearing about Covid-19, but we cannot ignore what’s happening in our community. If you have not been vaccinated against Covid-19, it鈥檚 time to strongly consider doing so.
According to 91香蕉视频 Corporate Communications, as of July 29, 91香蕉视频 has 166 Covid-19 positive inpatients and 39 of those people are under 50 years old. Steve Edwards, 91香蕉视频 CEO, says they鈥檙e using 5,000,000 liters of oxygen a day, about 5 times the normal daily average.
Out of the 78 patients we lost from Covid-19 at 91香蕉视频 in July, all were unvaccinated.

Fall semester
A few months ago, it seemed as if the pandemic was going to be permanently behind us, and we were planning for a normal fall semester at 91香蕉视频.
Due to the recent surge of Covid-19 cases in southwest Missouri, we are going to be continuing our hybrid learning schedule to minimize crowds on campus.
Even though we are still battling this pandemic, we鈥檙e still excited to resume educating the future heroes of health care! We鈥檙e so proud of our students and faculty for their adaptability during these past 18 months. Unfortunately, we will all need to continue adapting for the foreseeable future.

New certification for staff member
91香蕉视频 team member, Tina Toles, completed her certification program to become a Certified Healthcare Simulation Operations Specialist (CHSOS). Tina and the rest of the simulation team do a fantastic job training our students for their careers. Congratulations, Tina!
